Objectives of the Programme
PEAK Enterprise and Innovation Programme (PEAK Programme) is a four-year initiative that helps transform entrepreneurial ideas into sustainable businesses. The Programme introduces new and innovative ways to create and support highly competitive businesses, regional brands and business linkages through bringing together startups, MSMEs, business advisors and investors from the region and the globe.
PEAK works across Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to stimulate development of startups and MSMEs. The programme also aims to largely promote innovations and support local youth, women and disadvantaged groups to enable them to build the life-changing ventures.
Output 1: Through establishing Business Innovation Centres (BIC) PEAK Centres, PEAK Programme will guide starting and growing businesses from initial idea and solution to a problem to product development, marketing, supply chain management, entry into new markets, and fundraising.
Output 2: PEAK will improve the quality of business advisory service providers (BASPs) to ensure they are systematic, market-driven and supportive of business innovation, business growth, and business upgrades. PEAK will deliver trainings, courses, workshops, seminars, e-learning modules, and other relevant content for BASPs.
Output 3: PEAK will build a network of qualified BASPs and local and international mentors to support direct connections between startups/MSMEs and BASPs/mentors. Their services will be available to companies both onsite at PEAK Business Innovation Centres, or remotely, through online conferencing.
Scope of Position
PEAK Kyrgyzstan is seeking a Programmes and Content Manager (Pwho will manage and coordinate incubation/acceleration and other business support programmes and activities within PEAK Osh Business Innovation Centre (PEAK BIC). The P role is to productize the PEAK Programmes intellectual property of content and resources into packaged (designed and delivered) programmes for entrepreneurs looking to build sustainable and scalable companies. As a full-time management role, the Programmes tent Manager manages and implements the programmes for a variety of business segments and serves participants (startups and MSMEs) with different levels of experience in applied business and entrepreneurship. The Managers goal is to ensure the development of ventures and participants through high-impact incubation/acceleration programmes and other training events and activities at the PEAK Kyrgyzstan BICs. She/he should be a team player with a self-starter attitude and values to help create and properly promote the PEAK centre in Kyrgyzstan
Qualification requirements
Overall Requirements
At least University degree or equivalent in business administration, economics, management, marketing or other related field required.

Minimum five-year work experience in startup/small-medium businesses development, providing business education or supporting businesses;
Relevant work experience in setting up and/or running incubation or acceleration programmes, or other MSME/startup support programmes, including donor-funded private sector development projects;
Knowledge of the local entrepreneurial environment and ecosystem, including needs and opportunities of local businesses and key ecosystem actors;
Experience in managing business development services or deep understanding of the key components of business development processes, especially during initial years of business lifecycles;
Experience in managing and conducting the education cycles in the field of business development and business incubation/acceleration, developing training manuals, delivering trainings and workshops to different types of businesses;
Ability to organise in-person/virtual/hybrid trainings and coaching and provide guidance to teammates and partners in delivering high-quality incubation/pre-acceleration/acceleration and mentorship programmes;
Ability to effectively liaise with partners, trainers, business advisors and other local ecosystem actors in developing quality incubation/acceleration and mentorship programmes;
Ability to produce / co-develop quality written reports and technical documentation (eg. drafting Terms of References, programme completion reports, business development measurement tools, etc.);
Full proficiency in Russian and Kyrgyz languages;
At least working knowledge of English language.
Strong communication skills and adept at listening, questioning, explaining and giving feedback and good at explaining concepts.
Strong local network, including connections with major business associations, local private sector representatives, academia, relevant state agencies, and business service providers;: Experience of working for development projects, including Mporting;
Programmes and Content Managers general tasks and responsibilities :

Manage timely and effective planning, development and delivery of business support programmes, including incubation/(pre-)acceleration/mentorship programmes (in close coordination with Product Development Manager (PDM));
Conduct needs assessments to design demand-driven BIC products vices for startups and MSMEs;
Support PDM and lead, when required, on identification and selection of target segments;
Lead on recruitment, selection and engagement of trainers, mentors and guest speakers (in close coordination with PDM);
Lead on recruitment and enrollment of the PEAK centres programme participants;
Evaluate the efficiency of the programmes, monitor the progress and deliverables of engaged companies, collect the reviews and feedback, and implement the changes to improve the quality and impact of the programmes;
Lead on pre-/post-testing and clients satisfaction (in coordination with Mnager and PEAK Centre team);
Liaise with consortium and other partners on co-developing new programmes and content designing;
Organise and deliver in-person/virtual/hybrid trainings and coaching and provide guidance to teammates and partners in delivering high-quality incubation/pre-acceleration/acceleration and mentorship programmes;
Provide coaching support to PEAK centres programmes participants;
Co-ordinate with other Pin other PEAK centres the management of PEAKs e-learning and incubation management platform, storage of training materials, filling of evaluation and test documents, and other business education related materials;
Work with the Business Advisory team to ensure effective integration of business advisory services into programme delivery;
Perform other duties that may be required by PEAK Centre Management for effective implementation of programmes/activities.
Duty station:
Osh, Kyrgyzstan with possible business trips within Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan/or other countries.
Assignment Duration:
This is a long-term position (January 2021 to April 2023). The employment contract, subject to passing the probation period successfully, will be for a fixed term for one year with possible prolongation upon positive performance.

January 2021.
Language requirements:
Working knowledge of English language;: Fluent in Russian and Kyrgyz languages
